Wasserstoff als Brennstoff im BHKW

Wasserstoff (H2) gilt als der grüne Energieträger der Zukunft, denn bei seiner Verbrennung fallen nahezu keine CO2-Emissionen an. Ihnen stehen zwei Optionen zu Auswahl: reine Wasserstoff-BHKW und auch bivalent betriebene BHKW. Alle unsere Produkte sind “H2-Ready” und können ohne Anpassungen der Hardware mit bis zu 20 % H2-Beimischung betrieben werden. Möchten Sie Ihr BHKW ausschliesslich mit Wasserstoff betreiben, lässt es sich im Rahmen einer Routine-Revision zu überschaubaren Kosten umrüsten.

Optionen mit Wasserstoff:

Als Unterstützung der Wärme-Kraft-Kopplung mit Blockheizkraftwerken bietet sich Wasserstoff für verschiedene Möglichkeiten an:

  1. Wasserstoff als Brennstoff: Statt herkömmlichem Erdgas kann Wasserstoff als Brennstoff fürs BHKW verwendet werden. Wasserstoff verbrennt sauber und emittiert bei der Verbrennung nur Wasser. Durch den Einsatz von Wasserstoff als Brennstoff im BHKW kann die CO2-Bilanz verbessert werden.
  2. Wasserstoff als Beimischung: Wasserstoff kann herkömmlichen Brennstoffen wie zB Erdgas beigemischt werden. Das reduziert den Brennstoffverbrauch und verringert den CO2-Ausstoss.
  3. Power-to-Gas und Speicherung von Überschussenergie: Wasserstoff kann als Speichermedium für überschüssige erneuerbare Energie verwendet werden. Wenn beispielsweise Solar- oder Windkraftanlagen mehr Energie erzeugen als benötigt wird, kann diese dafür genutzt werden, Wasser durch Elektrolyse in Wasserstoff umzuwandeln. Der erzeugte Wasserstoff kann dann gespeichert und bei Bedarf in einem BHKW zur Strom- und Wärmeproduktion genutzt werden.
